What's your interest in Neuromarketing?
I am currently collaborating with members of the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab and Mass Maritime on next wave training technology the NNIT (Neural Narrative Induction Trainer). The device is an integrated system that incorporates visual simulation enhanced neuro narrative scripts and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation.During our research we developed theories on experimental media which we labled Neurocasting.Neurocasting:The transmission of media that is specifically designed to enhance brain function. In addition to pursuing our core disciplines (Social Media Marketing,HD production.) my company Access Media Lab is developing a functional Neurocasting model.

Neural Narrative Induction Training System / William Fort / Developer

This Neural Narrative Induction Training System study will examine the integral relationship between a number of standardized training systems and techniques and their effectiveness in direct correspondence to the emotional, psychological and physiological status of individual training subjects involved in the program. It is our contention that improper evaluation and enhancement of these criteria prior to the introduction of the subjects (trainees) to complex technical or instructional data creates a deficit in the core efficiencies affecting the acquisition and retention of this data by trained personnel.

It is the intention of our query to determine and define more efficient procedures for pre-training evaluations. The data gathered from these evaluations would be analyzed and purposed as a platform on which to build a comprehensive pre-training Induction and Conditioning model. Through the introduction of specialized narrative content in combination with other induction methods, this model would serve as an emotional conduit, or " bridge", cementing the relationship between the individual trainee and the specified training content, program, or routine. The Induction model itself would be assembled of multiple practices and procedures related to the fields of transpersonal psychology (see Maslow), Narratology, Environmental psychology and the induction techniques of the Erickson model and other technologies based on specific interpersonal communications.

The completed Induction and Conditioning model would serve as the foundation of the Neural Narrative Induction Training System. To facilitate the rapid and effective induction in a control group subject’s individual "peak" performance, experiences must be induced and identified in the individual and analyzed as EEG, EKG and MRI data. This data will assist us in determining those psychological states most conducive to learning. A crucial component to our study is the identification of Creative and Self-Actualized states in our test subjects and to determine the role of these states in developing a Holistic understanding of integrated systems. The Creative Level is the level where the formal mind integrates all of the ideas and experiences into one, wh***, picture model of the world. The subject is now capable to envision how the truth or falsity of any one idea would affect the truth or falsity of the others. The subjects now comprehend a mass network of ideas, how they influence each other and what their relationships are to one another. The subjects can make connections, relate truths, coordinate ideas and integrate concepts. It is the highest integrative structure in the individual realm, "self-seen in the integral wh***". All of the structures of the human psyche are completely integrated into the one wh***. Subjectively, this state is experienced as a state of self-actualization, vision-logic, high fantasy, synthetic thinking, spontaneity, creativity and super-sensitivity. Objectively, this is the level where consciousness can easily shift from the rational to the symbolic level and finally back to the emotional level of awareness. All of the information from these levels can be fully processed and integrated into the Creative Level of awareness.

It is the intention of this study to develop a standardized method of pre-training induction and conditioning capable of consistently sustaining and replicating these experiences to improve the overall performance and efficiency of personnel charged with a variety of technical tasks and responsibilities.

Narratology: Narratology is the theory and study of narrative and narrative structure and the way they affect our perception. [1] In principle, the word can refer to any systematic study of narrative, though in practice the use of the term is rather more restricted (see below). It is an anglicisation of the French word narratologie, coined by Tzvetan Todorov in his Grammaire du DŽcamŽron (1969), [2] and has been retrospectively applied to many studies that were described otherwise by their authors. Although a lineage stretching back to Aristotle's Poetics may be traced, modern narratology is most typically said to begin with the Russian Formalists and in particular with Vladimir Propp's Morphology of the Folktale (1928)

Transpersonal Psychology: Transpersonal psychology is a school of psychology that studies the transpersonal, the transcendent or spiritual aspects of the human experience. The Journal of Transpersonal Psychology describes transpersonal psychology as "the study of humanityÕs highest potential, and with the recognition, understanding, and realization of unitive, spiritual, and transcendent states of consciousness" (Lajoie and Shapiro, 1992:91). Issues considered in transpersonal psychology include spiritual self-development, peak experiences, mystical experiences, systemic trance and other metaphysical experiences of living.

Environmental Psychology: Although "environmental psychology" is arguably the best-known and more comprehensive description of the field, it is also known as environmental social sciences, architectural psychology, socio-architecture, ecological psychology, ecopsychology, behavioral geography, environment-behavior studies, person-environment studies, environmental sociology, social ecology, and environmental design research; each advanced by different researchers, sometimes used interchangeably, sometimes with recognized gaps and overlaps between the terms. This field draws on work in a number of disciplines including anthropology, geography, ekistics, sociology, psychology, history, political science, engineering, planning, architecture, urban design and, of course, aesthetics.

Neural Narrative Induction Training System: Phase 2

fs26 NNIT Interface

Neural Narrative Induction Trainer: Prototype

This paper illustrates the technical procedures and methods necessary for the development and design of the Neural Narrative Induction Training System. This fully integrated, accelerated training system employs multidisciplinary components including advanced neural scripting, Binaural technologies, Visual Simulation and Haptic technologies. The primary function of the NNIT system is to create a stable, immersive, training environment and information delivery system capable of the accelerated acquisition and retention of specific technical data reprocessed into the Neural Narrative format.

These Neural Narrative "scripts" are composed through the systematic reconstruction of technical data from its component parts including syntax. linguistics, narrative structure and symbolic representations. Apart from the primary function of the host material, these components are reorganized into an amendable narrative that supports the training routine by effectively guiding subjects towards a positive and predictable outcome. The resulting Neural scripts will be additionally enhanced with embedded audio processing. frequency enhancements, corrective modulation and selective editing to control tone, cadence, volume and emphasis in the linguistic structure.

Visual simulations compliment the neural scripts with 180 degree, real time, simulated environments that accurately represent the visual parameters and logistics of the training environment. Internal, onboard, eye tracking devices will facilitate the collection of visual feedback data allowing trainers to evaluate the physical and emotional responses of the trainees to the training environment. EEG EKG and MRI data will be used to evaluate
brain activity and emotional responses.

Much of the cognitive research conducted with EEG will use the Event-Related Potential (ERP) technique. Most ERP experimental paradigms involve a subject being provided a stimulus to which they react either overtly or covertly. There are often at least two conditions that vary in some manner of interest to the researcher. As this stimulus-response is going on an EEG is being recorded from the subject. The ERP is obtained by averaging the EEG signal from each of the trials within a certain condition. Averages from one stimulus-response condition can then be compared with averages from the other stimulus-response condition(s). A two-way, haptic interface will be employed to allow trainees to manipulate the virtual environment as well as receive automated anchoring cues.

The Neuroscience of Magic

Neuroscientists Stephen Macknik and Susana Martinez-Conde, the founders of the exciting new discipline of NeuroMagic — and also members of the Magic Castle, Magic Circle, International Brotherhood of Magicians, and the Society of American Magicians — have convinced some of the world’s greatest magicians to allow scientists to study their techniques for tricking the brain. Magic tricks work because humans have a hardwired process of attention and awareness that is hackable—a good magician…

Dear Jamaal,

Hello new friend. I have already watched a few of your videos links.....loved them, loved them loved them. One answered a question that came up this morning as I was awakening and another long time question about myself. Thank you and look forward to talking more in the future.
